Splash Pad

Oh What a Difference 3 years makes! The pictures on the right are of Avery in August 2007 and the ones on the left are current. Same great splash pad and same great girl. Can't believe how big she is. Time sure does fly by when you are a parent. These are the moments I will never forget!

10 and 11 months Old

This cutie turned 10 months old in May and just recently on June 29th 11 months. Hard to believe he is going to be 1 soon. He is so much fun here are a few things about Mr. Madyx
-He LOVES to climb anything he possibly can.
-He loves to feed himself and really does not like to be fed at all anymore.
-He is working on getting 4 teeth right now the top two are in and one of the bottom ones has come through with the next one on its way.
-He drinks 4 to 5 bottles of 6 to 8 ounces of formula.
-He follows his big sister around to play with her.
-He signs milk and all done. He says mama, dada, all duh (all done), and is working on ball, uh oh and he blows kisses and waves hi and bye.
-He wears size 3 diapers.
-He goes to bed at 7 and sleeps until 5am or 6am rarely waking up and has two naps at 9am and 1pm sharp.
-He looks just like his Daddy ;-)
We LOVE him sooo much!

End of the Year Party

Avery's preschool had an end of the year party at Pioneer Village. They had a couple of bounce houses which of course Avery loved but the line was long but she didn't mind going in jumping, sliding and then waiting back in line. They had a barbeque and we sat in the grass and ate while Avery danced to the music the DJ was playing. Each class sang a little song and got certificates from their teachers. It was a fun little end of the year party!

Last Day of Preschool Ice Cream Party!

Avery was soooo excited to have a ice cream party at preschool. She picked out her ice cream dress and talked about it nonstop for weeks. All the kid sat patiently at the table not saying a word. Then they got to go up one by one and pick their selections and toppings. It was so cute!
Avery had a great first year of preschool Miss Wendy was her head teache and Miss Laura the helper. Next year Avery will be in Miss Laura's class on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and is looking forward to it!

The Otto Twins Birthday Party

May 18, 2010 I had the absolute pleasure of being a part of the Twins birth. Emily got a phone call late Monday night on the 17th letting her know that she would need to report to the hospital at 5am on th 18th to have a c-section. Her platelets had dropped and she needed to deliver. I immediately called the hospital and got her a good nurse for the morning, packed a bag and headed to her house to finish a few things. We all slept for about an hour or two and then got up and headed to the hospital. I pulled a few strings and was allowed to go back in the OR with Emily an CJ.

I am in the OR often with other patients but this time I was there with my little sister. I felt like a mama hawk making sure everything was perfect. The boys were born and it was such an amazing day to be a part of. Thank You Emily and CJ for letting me be a part of a very special day....I am so honored!

Mothers Day 2010

I have told Matt for a few years that I would love to go to a brunch on Mothers Day. So this small hotel had a breakfast buffet brunch in honors of Mothers Day and we went. It was so much fun and Avery and Madyx had fun sampling all of the items as well. Avery's favorite was the belgium waffles with strawberries on top. She was a little hesitant because it wasn't her traditional pancake but loved it. Madyx had a little of everything. And Matt and I enjoyed the eggs benedict and petit fours. We were getting ready to get a family photo with Matt in it and of course the camera died ;-( Glad we at least got these pics of me and my beautiful babes. I love them more than words can describe. I feel so lucky to be given the gift of being their MaMa!
