"Milk"

The other day Madyx was on his changing table and he looked up to me and signed "milk". I thought oh he probably doesn't know what he is doing but I signed in back and said "Milk." He got the biggest smile on his face and we signed it back and forth to each other several times. We were both so excited to finally be able to communicate with each other. I ran and grabbed the camera so everyone would believe me when I told them Madyx signed 'milk' at 6 months old. He has done it several times now and even while sleeping knowing he was hungry I walked in with his eyes still closed but his arm in the air signing 'milk'. Soooo cute!

6 months old

This little guy turned 6 months old on January 29thand he is such a great spirited baby!!!
He is weighing in at a whopping
14lbs 13oz (3rd percentile)
25 inches long (6th percentile)
Don't know head measurement but it is in the 32nd percentile...
big head=big brain=smart boy!
He is wearing size 2 diapers and 3-6 month clothes.
He still nurses like a champ, eats veggies, fruit and rice cereal!
He laughs, babbles, grabs everything in site, rolls all over and sits for a few seconds by himself!
We love him soooo much!!!!!!!!!!!

The little guy!!!

Meet Titus and Torrin these are Madyx first friends...You might think they are quite a bit older but they are only 3 weeks older than Madyx. My friend Jane had these adorable twins in early July and when we had Madyx and found out he was a boy I said oh perfect he can be friends with Titus and Torrin. One day little Madyx will catch up and I am sure will tackle these buddies of his!!! :-)

Reading

Madyx and Avery are so lucky to have a Grandma that was a school Librarian. She buys them the best books and both of them love having stories read to them!

Best Buddies...

One of the absolute joys of having two kids is watching them interact. Avery LOVES her little brother and is always around to entertain him and help take care of him. Some nicknames she has for Madyx "Buddy Boy" Buh Buh" "Fussy Boy" They are so cute and I love watching them interact. Madyx loves to laugh at her and she loves to make him laugh.....

The Benefits of working from home!!!!

I caught Matt wearing his Cardinals Snuggie while working one day. I guess...He was cold. Also notice the tea cup and snack on princess plates that Avery so graciously brings him through out the day SOOO FUN!
